Please like, comment, and SHARE! 🙏 🔍 Episode Overview: At around 2:58 AM on December 8, 2022, Somers Point Police officers responded to a report of a possible hit-and-run near Groveland Avenue and Franklin Drive. They discovered a blue 2021 Honda Civic that had significant damage and was unoccupied. Sergeant John Conover and Patrolman Daniel Bryan began looking into the Honda Civic and found that the license plate was registered to Lianna Graniglia. Meanwhile, Patrolman Leroy Gandy located a damaged Honda Element in a nearby parking lot that matched the witness's description of the other vehicle involved. After gathering this information, the officers decided to visit the apartment building of the registered owner to search for the other suspects in the accident. The officers went to the apartment and spoke with Lianna’s boyfriend first. When they entered the unit and talked to Lianna, she quickly confessed to causing the accident and being under the influence. The officers noticed the smell of alcohol, and Lianna had bloodshot and watery eyes. They then asked her to step outside so they could give her field sobriety tests. Sergeant Conover began by asking Lianna to recite the alphabet from "A" to "Z," but she did not say the letters in the correct order. The second test was the One Leg Stand, where Lianna struggled to lift her foot correctly and showed poor balance. For the third test, the Walk and Turn, she failed to place her heel directly in front of her toe with each step and instead took ten steps in each direction rather than the nine steps she was supposed to take. Finally, during the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN) test, Sergeant Conover could not get a clear result because Lianna frequently closed her eyes. Based on the caller's witness statement, Lianna admitted to being under the influence and could not complete the field sobriety tests properly. As a result, Sergeant Conover arrested her for driving under the influence. Lianna's vehicle was impounded for a required 12-hour period under John’s Law, and she was taken to the Somers Point Police Department for processing. Once at the police station, Lianna was read the Standard Statement for Motor Vehicle Operators and agreed to provide breath samples. Sergeant Conover conducted a breath test using the Alcotest machine after Lianna agreed to provide samples. The test showed her blood alcohol content (BAC) was 0.15%, which is almost twice the legal limit of 0.08%. After the officers completed their processing of Lianna, she spent 7 hours and 20 minutes in a cell before being released to await her court date. Sergeant Conover issued several charges against her, including operating under the influence, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, failing to report an accident, and five additional citations for not having the required documents, such as her license, registration, and insurance. 1:39 Quivering lip 7:09 w-h-y & z WTF well she did already admit she was under the influence and it shows Note to YouTube Reviewer: This footage has been produced by law enforcement specifically fo DUI Arrest Videos via FOIA (records have been paid for DUI Arrest Videos.
