A personal dispute escalates into a public altercation on a busy beach, leading to an arrest. On a sunny afternoon, officers responded to a report of a fight that had concluded on a public beach. Upon arrival, an employee directed Patrolman Panduri to an alleged victim who reported being approached and assaulted by another woman. The interaction stemmed from a long-standing animosity over a shared boyfriend, with the victim showing visible scratch marks on her back. The alleged aggressor, later identified and located by Sergeant Huegel on a nearby sidewalk, was subsequently placed under arrest for simple assault. She was transported to the police department for processing, issued a summons, and released, while the victim was provided with information to seek a restraining order. --- Transparency through the lens of the law.
