A late-night call about a firearm discharge outside a club leads officers to a suspect inside, who denies involvement despite evidence. On December 18, 2022, officers responded to a report of a firearm discharged into the air on N Jackson Street. A witness described a female suspect wearing a white shirt and plaid skirt, who was later located in the dressing room of a nearby club, Toppers. The suspect, a young adult white woman with voluminous dirty blonde hair and dramatic false eyelashes, initially expressed confusion, denied having anything in her purse, and claimed another person was responsible for the shooting, despite admitting to being drunk. During the investigation, officers discovered a GLOCK 9mm handgun in a holster concealed under her pleated plaid skirt.
