While officer was on another traffic stop the driver of the black in color Chevrolet Cruz almost struck my back up officer's patrol vehicle while we were walking to get back into our patrol vehicles at the end of the stop. Officer followed after the driver and observed the driver having difficulty maintaining its lane, I noticed this about three times while I was behind the driver. Officer turned on the lights and emergency sirens and the vehicle stopped. Driver was identified as Valeria Campos. While speaking with Campos I could smell the oder of adult beverages coming from her breath. officer asked Campos to step out of the vehicle at this time and if she was willing to do some Standardized Field Sobriety Test. She advised that she would be willing to do the test. During the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus, I observed the following clues: 1. Lack of Smooth Pursuit in both eyes 2. Distinct Nystagmus at Maximum Deviation in both eyes 3. Onset of Nystagmus Prior to forty-five Degrees in both eyes. Six out of Six clues for this portion of the test. During the Walk and Turn I observed the following clues: 1. Starts to Soon 2. Doesn't touch heel to toe 3. Steps off line 4. Improper Turn Four out of Eight Clues for this portion of the test. During the One Leg Stand I observed the following clues: 1. Sways while balancing One out of four Clues for this portion of the test. At this time, Officer placed Campos under arrest for DUI Under age, and placed her in the back of patrol vehicle.
