Police Follow the Smell — What They Find in the Crawl Space Changes Everything | Bodycam Police in Louisville respond to what begins as a routine welfare check — but quickly turns into something far darker. A landlord reports a powerful, unexplained odor coming from the basement of a rental home. Hidden beneath debris in a crawl space, officers discover a maggot-covered bag and realize the missing tenant hasn’t been seen for weeks. As the investigation unfolds, police uncover a chilling connection: the missing man was romantically involved with Sarah McQuillin, a woman already in custody for another homicide. Bodycam footage captures the moment officers piece together a disturbing pattern — two missing men, two crawl spaces, and one suspect. What follows is a methodical investigation, careful scene preservation, and a grim confirmation that this discovery is not an isolated crime. This video breaks down the full timeline, explains what officers are seeing and hearing in real time, and examines how subtle warning signs — strange smells, missing persons, repeated domestic calls — can point to something far worse. ⚠️ Viewer discretion advised.
