The information is based on the Arkansas State Police incident report. Charges listed are the charges documented in the report and do not constitute a finding of guilt. Description On October 1, 2026, an Arkansas State Police trooper observed a blue Chevrolet Tahoe traveling on State Highway 124. The driver was initially observed without a seat belt, but the situation quickly escalated after the trooper initiated a traffic stop. Instead of stopping, the Tahoe accelerated through Russellville. The vehicle reportedly reached approximately 75 MPH while running a red light and entered the eastbound lanes of traffic, traveling head-on toward approaching vehicles. The driver continued through another red light before reaching approximately 95 MPH. The pursuit continued through multiple intersections, with the Tahoe repeatedly entering opposing traffic lanes, running red lights and stop signs, and reaching speeds of approximately 80 MPH. At one point, the vehicle drove onto a walkway to avoid a police unit. The pursuit became even more chaotic when the Tahoe lost control, spun around, and attempted to maneuver back onto the roadway. Multiple tactical vehicle intervention attempts were made before another intervention successfully stopped the vehicle. Russellville Police units assisted in taking the driver and passenger into custody. The report also states that a small amount of a green leafy substance believed by the trooper to be marijuana was found in a carry bag belonging to the driver.
