Please like, comment, and SHARE! 🙏 🔍 Episode Overview: On the 19th of March in the year 2024, at approximately 10:43 PM, authorities at the dispatch center received a report regarding an unidentified individual who was observed knocking on the door of an apartment building where she was not known to reside. Subsequently, at around 11:08 PM, a second call was made to report that an unfamiliar woman had entered an apartment on the second floor of the same building. Officer Rose Kanan promptly responded to the scene, where she discovered that the door was ajar. Upon entering the premises, Officer Kanan proceeded to the second floor, where she encountered a 52-year-old woman and her 15-year-old son. Officers Montalvo, Quinn, and Sergeant Falco promptly arrived at the scene. The woman informed the officers that another woman had entered her son's room. Officers Kanan and Montalvo escorted the other woman out of the apartment to converse with her in the hallway. Subsequently, through the course of the inquiry, it was ascertained that she was a 31-year-old woman residing in another nearby apartment building in Hoboken. The individual exhibited signs of intoxication and informed the authorities that she had frequented several bars in Hoboken earlier in the evening. However, she was unable to provide the specific address of the location she claimed to have been in. Officer Kanan subsequently determined that she did not reside within that premises, leading to her arrest for trespassing. Following her conveyance to the patrol car, Officers Tamborra and Quinn engaged with the occupants of the unit. The tenant expressed her intention to file a complaint against the aforementioned individual for trespassing within her apartment. The woman was taken to the Hoboken Police Department for further processing. Upon arrival at police headquarters, she declined to undergo fingerprinting. With no other responsible adult available to assume responsibility for her, Officers Santiago and Ingraffia escorted her to the Hoboken University Medical Center for additional assessment. Officer Kanan issued her summonses for Trespassing (2C:18-3A) and Refusal to Submit to Fingerprinting (53:1-15).
