This clip shows the stop, the deputy’s callout, and the moment the driver learns Florida’s “Super Speeder” rules the hard way. Charge: Dangerous Excessive Speeding. In Florida, going 50 mph over the posted limit or reaching 100 mph can qualify you as a Super Speeder. That can elevate a traffic violation into a criminal offense, lead to arrest, and put you in the county jail, not just a citation.
