On June 6, 2024, Dayton Police Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident where the 37-year-old driver of a Honda swerved and struck a light pole. Officers observed empty bottles of alcohol in the woman's vehicle so she was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests. At the conclusion of the tests, she was arrested for Operating a Vehicle Under the Influence (OVI). It was revealed that this was her 2nd drunk driving arrest. She was transported to the Dayton police station, where she submitted to an evidential breath test. The result was 0.176% BAC.
