On September 13, 2025, Tampa Police and the Florida Highway Patrol were dispatched to a wrong way driver on Interstate 4. Tampa Police Officer Frueh located the vehicle first and eventually brought the 24-year-old driver to a stop using the Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT). The driver was assisted out of her vehicle and was detained. She seemed very confused and unaware that she had been driving on the wrong way in the Interstate. She was given field sobriety tests and was eventually placed under arrest. At the jail, she submitted 2 breath samples and the results were 0.199% BAC and 0.202% BAC. Her charged are listed at the end of the video. Her case is still open and all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
