On May 4, 2025, Rio Rancho Police Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident. Officers had to smash the rear window of a rented Nissan in order to get the 35-year-old driver out of the vehicle. The police report indicates that numerous officers could smell alcohol on the breath of the woman. After being checked out by EMS, she was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests. However, she was too intoxicated to maintain her balance, so she was placed under arrest for Driving While Under the Influence. The woman mentioned numerous times that she was an employee of the District Attorney's Office. She was transported to the Rio Rancho police station, where she submitted two breath samples. The results were 0.26% BAC and 0.27% BAC. Her charges and the outcome of her case are discussed at the end of the video.
