In April 2016, 46-year-old artist Jordie Hudson walked out of the Giggling Gator bar on King Street in St. Augustine, Florida, with John Harry Branson III. Surveillance cameras on Cedar Street recorded an altercation between them. Three hours later, the cameras caught Branson coming back — with his girlfriend, 29-year-old Christeen Thomas. Police say the video shows Branson putting Jordie into the back seat of a car while Thomas keeps watch. Days later, St. Augustine Police detectives sat down with Thomas. They knew a great deal about that night. What they didn't know was where Jordie was. This is that interview, as it was recorded. On May 30, 2017, Circuit Judge Howard Maltz sentenced him to 50 years in prison.
