That video can be seen here: https://youtu.be/UTrGHb6XUcg On June 17, 2024, two people came to the Pullman Police Station to report that their friend was driving and hit a pole, causing them to suffer minor injuries. They said the driver of the van that hit the pole was drunk and that they jumped out of the van just before the driver proceeded to drive away. The video begins with the two passengers showing Officer Stalnaker where the van crashed. Meanwhile, Officer Anderson located the disabled van at the Conoco gas station. Officer Stalnaker and Anderson approached the 23-year-old woman and she initially denied consuming any alcohol. However, the woman was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which included a portable breath test (PBT). The result of the PBT was 0.261% BAC. The woman was placed under arrest and was transported to the Pullman Police station, where she met the infamous brown chair. She submitted to an evidential breath test (EBT) and the result was 0.230% BAC. She was charged with Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and Hit and Run. Her case is still open and all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
