On February 17, 2020, Sheriff Lamb met with Congressmen from around the country to talk border security. He showed them areas in Pinal County where human traffickers and drug smugglers cut through the desert leaving trash behind. Many are picked up along Interstate 8. On the tour were Arizona Congressmen Andy Biggs and Paul Gosar, Arkansas Congressman French Hill, Idaho Congressman Russ Fulcher, and Wisconsin Congressman Glenn Grothman.
