When Sunrise Police responded to reports of a routine disturbance, they didn't expect a tense situation to escalate into a shocking internal crisis. As a 21-year veteran police sergeant lost control and physically attacked a fellow female officer who was trying to de-escalate the scene, the tension exploded into a major national scandal. In this breakdown, American Bodycam examines the tactical response, the disturbing abuse of authority, and the final legal verdict that stripped a veteran of his badge.
