Just before midnight on January 7, 2023, Oshkosh Police Officer Wunnicke observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign. Officer Wunnicke initiated a traffic stop and quickly smelled alcohol emitting from the breath of the 21 year-old female driver. She is asked to step out of the vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests (FSTs). A preliminary breath test is performed and the results are 0.18%. The driver was arrested for her second DUI. Once she is in the back of the police car and hears that her vehicle is going to be towed, she gets very emotional and upset and starts opening up about all her problems. She is eventually transported to the local hospital for a blood draw, which is standard procedure for a 2nd DUI offense. The end of the video discussed the outcome of her charges.
