On February 19, 2025, around 1:43 a.m., 27-year-old Reese M. Collin crashed her blue 2019 Jeep Wrangler into a utility pole at the intersection of W. Front Street and Half Mile Road in Middletown, New Jersey. When officers Ruane, Davis, and Mazza arrived, they found the Jeep still running — the front end crushed against the pole, which was 90% broken and leaning on the vehicle for support. Reese was still in the driver’s seat, disoriented and smelling strongly of alcohol. She told officers she was driving home from a concert at Prudential Center. Her eyes were watery and red, and her speech was slurred. During field sobriety tests, she stumbled several times and failed to maintain balance. After being placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence (DUI), Reese was transported to headquarters, where her blood alcohol concentration (BAC) tested at 0.16%, twice the legal limit of 0.08%. She was charged with: DUI (N.J.S.A. 39:4-50) Reckless Driving (N.J.S.A. 39:4-96) Reese was later released to her mother, Susan Collin, after formal booking and court summons were issued. Court Date: February 27, 2025 — 8:30 a.m. 📌 Case Facts Suspect: Reese M.
