00:01 Walmart Security Footage (no sound) 02:00 Start of Body Camera Footage On April 19, 2024, Mount Vernon Police Officers responded to Walmart after receiving a report that Loss Prevention Agents had detained a 23-year-old woman for shoplifting. When officers arrived, the woman admitted that she had outstanding warrants for her arrest. After confirming the existence of the warrants, she was transported to the Skagit County Jail and was booked for the 3 outstanding warrants. She also received a criminal citation for theft. All suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
