Consequently, he conducted a U-Turn and initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. The driver turned into Dairy Queen, 376 Oak St, to park. As he spoke with the driver, he noticed s strong aroma of an alcoholic beverage emanating from her, Isabelle's breath, and the passenger compartment. He then asked where she was coming from, and she initially said work but then described how she was not working on this date. He asked if she had been drinking, and initially, she said no while looking away. His training, Knowledge, and experience have taught him that individual looking away while responding to questions serves as a sign that they maybe concealing information. He then asked her again if she had anything to drink tonight, and eventually, after additional denials, she explained she had one drink, Based on her slurred speech, the odor of an adult beverage, and her admission of drinking.
