Using money as smelling salts is wild 😂 via 📺: SpongeBob SquarePants SpongeBob SquarePants – Season 2, Episode 22b: “Bossy Boots” (aired October 26, 2000, paired with “Something Smells”) is a fun Pearl-focused episode that highlights family dynamics and the Krusty Krab crew’s chaos. Plot Summary Mr. Krabs hires his daughter Pearl for the summer, and she comes in with big ideas to “improve” the restaurant. She redesigns the uniforms (pink floral getups), renames it the Kuddly Krab, turns it into a cutesy teen hangout café with salads and tea instead of Krabby Patties, and generally bosses everyone around. SpongeBob starts resistant (along with Squidward) but quickly gets swept up in the changes and loves the new vibe. Mr. Krabs hates it because it’s killing profits but can’t bring himself to fire his own daughter. He tasks SpongeBob with doing the dirty work, leading to a heartfelt moment where Pearl admits she hates the job too and was trying to get fired to please her dad. It ends with a clever fake-out firing and everyone back to normal (mostly).
