On December 18, 2025, Rio Rancho Police Officer Roskos observed a vehicle allegedly traveling 51 miles per hour (MPH) in a 40 MPH zone. He initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle, which was being driven by a 47-year-old woman. She claimed to be driving co-workers home from a social event and she initially denied consuming any alcohol. The police report indicates that Officer Roskos could smell alcohol coming from the vehicle. The woman was asked to step out of her vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests. She was eventually placed under arrest and transported to the Rio Rancho Police Station. She provided two breath samples and the results were 0.16% and 0.14% BAC. Her charges are listed at the end of the video. Her case is still open and all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
