It really helps us do original reporting like this. 🔍 Episode Overview: On April 2, 2025, around 11:39 PM, Point Pleasant Beach Patrolman Edward Rilho spotted a white 2019 Toyota Tacoma heading north. It raced at about 50 MPH in a 25 MPH zone on Ocean Avenue near Homestead Avenue. He tailed the truck. Then he saw the driver hugging too close behind a speeding silver sedan. Finally, he flipped on his lights for a stop. The driver pulled over near Atlantic Avenue on Ocean Avenue. The officer approached. He met the driver, identified as 25-year-old Marissa Razzoli. He called her and the sedan driver "scumbags" for their wild ways. She said she'd hit the Boatyard that night. She owned up to a few beers before getting behind the wheel. Back at her truck for more talk, she had her dad on the line. She bragged to the cop that he worked Homeland Security. Sergeant Gary Siculietano showed up to help. They asked Marissa to step out and try sobriety tests. First came the alphabet, A through Z. She botched it bad. Next, the one-leg stand. She couldn't lift her foot right and dropped it too soon. Then the walk-and-turn. Her heels missed toes on every step. Her pivot went all wrong. Her crazy driving, booze smell, beer confession, and test flops convinced Patrolman Rilho she was drunk. He cuffed Marissa for DUI. They towed her truck for a 12-hour hold under John's Law. He drove her to the station for booking. There, they read her the motor vehicle statement. She skipped the breath test. Once processed, her sister Danielle took her home. Danielle signed the liability warning for her, awaiting court.
