On January 4, 2023, officers initially responded to a domestic disturbance at a private residence, departing after no immediate arrest was made. However, the situation quickly escalated when, just moments after police left, the suspect allegedly threatened to kill the victim while he slept, causing the victim to flee the home and seek safety with an involved person. A second call to law enforcement brought officers back to the scene, where they made phone contact with the victim, who, with palpable fear, confirmed the threats and expressed his strong desire to press charges, stating he was 'terrified of her.'
