On July 16, 2024, an officer with Key West Police Department was on patrol when he, according to reports, observed a golf cart fail to stop and fail to signal. Shortly after the interaction began, the officer claimed to smell alcohol coming off driver’s breath. The driver, later identified as Kristen, explained she’s a stroke victim and consented to field sobriety exercises. We would love to hear what you think about this one.
