Please like, comment, and SHARE! 🙏 🔍 Episode Overview: At about 8:10 PM on January 22, 2023, Patrolman Justin Johnson from the Glassboro Police Department went to check out a car accident on Focer Street by North Delsea Drive. When he got there, he saw that a 2016 Honda Civic had gone off the road and hit the control box for a traffic light. Patrolman Johnson talked to the driver, who was named Allison, and asked her what happened. Allison was on the phone and said she couldn't move her car. She also struggled to explain to Patrolman Johnson what happened in the crash. Even though she said she wasn't hurt, Patrolman Johnson noticed the smell of alcohol and thought she might be drunk. Sergeant Cavallaro asked her more questions, and Allison was eventually told to get out of the car to do some sobriety tests. Corporal Roberts began by giving Allison the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN) test, but she couldn’t complete it correctly. Next, they did the Walk and Turn test. Patrolman Johnson observed that Allison didn't touch her heel to her toe on each step, and she counted the steps wrong. The final test was the One Leg Stand. During this test, Allison couldn't lift her foot properly and showed poor balance. Allison was arrested for driving drunk after a traffic accident. There was a smell of alcohol, she admitted to drinking earlier that night, and she couldn't complete the field sobriety tests. Ralph’s Towing took her car and kept it for 12 hours as required by John’s Law. Patrolman Johnson then took Allison to the Rowan Police Department to continue the processing. At the Rowan Police Department, Allison was informed about the rules for drivers and agreed to take breath tests. The results showed her blood alcohol concentration was 0.14%, which is above the legal limit of 0.08%. After that, she was taken to the Glassboro Police Department and was let go with a sober adult, who signed a form for her. Officer Johnson gave her several tickets: for driving under the influence, reckless driving, careless driving, driving on a sidewalk, not showing proof of insurance, not showing registration, and lacking liability insurance.
