At approximately 7:03 PM on May 21, 2023, Sergeant Matthew Gajewski encountered a 2020 Toyota SUV with a flat tire on Shore Road. During initial contact with the 45-year-old female driver, Justine Meadow, the officer noted slurred speech and a distinct odor of alcohol, which she denied consuming. Her refusal to provide essential documents and subsequent inability to adequately perform field sobriety exercises, including the One Leg Stand test where she struggled to maintain balance, led to her arrest.
