Deputies in Los Angeles County responded to a 911 call reporting a man inside a store carrying a machete in his backpack. When contacted, the suspect refused to comply with repeated commands to drop the weapon. For several tense minutes, officers attempted to de-escalate, urging the man — identified as “Jonathan” — to put down the blade. Instead, he held onto it, moved toward customers, and refused to leave the store. Deputies used tasers in an effort to subdue him, while keeping bystanders safe and clearing people out of harm’s way. ⚠️ Disclaimer: This video is for educational and informational purposes only.
