On arrival officers met with loss prevention. She stated that the female covered the items in the buggy with a blanket and then walked by the cash registers and grabbed a handful of bags. The loss prevention employee was notified by another employee that the female and a male were outside bagging up all of the items. The total for all of the items equaled to $501.60. The loss prevention employee went and watched the camera footage and was able to locate the suspect inside covering up the buggy with the blanket and then grabbing the bags. The loss prevention employee did not see the male enter the store. All items were recovered by Walmart. The suspect was placed in handcuffs BB:DL for shoplifting as well as trespassing. She was transported to Jail without incident. The suspect was previously barred from Walmart for a period of two years. The suspect and the male were barred for a period of two years on this date.
