July 30, 2023. Lakewood, Washington. Two calls to police from the same apartment complex in one night: a loud party, then a fight. Officers came, and officers left. By 7 a.m., a 64-year-old man named Leonard Williams was found near the dumpsters. He had been out walking. That was all he was doing. Whoever did it didn't run far. Surveillance caught a figure sprinting back up the stairs after 3 a.m., saying four words to everyone inside. Then the door closed, and the party kept going. Brodey Brownell was 17. By the time detectives had a name, he was gone. And what he left behind on his phone was worse than anything the scene showed. Everyone who was at that party told a different version of the night. Some said it started with a noise complaint. Others said it started with a look. A few said it didn't start with anything at all. This is the real footage of the manhunt, the witnesses who couldn't agree on why, and the moment a SWAT team stood outside a door, not knowing who was behind it. 🚨 Stay till the end for the four words on that surveillance video, and what they meant. 📌 Based on publicly available bodycam footage, interrogation footage, and court records.
