On January 1, 2024, Pullman Police Officer Dillon was finishing a traffic stop and walking back to her police unit when she noticed a vehicle that did not yield and move over to the other lane of traffic. She gave chase and initiated a traffic stop on the other vehicle. The 23-year-old driver admitted to consuming alcohol and was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests (FSTs). This included a portable breath test (PBT). The result of the PBT was 0.144% BAC. The woman was arrested and transported to the Pullman Police Station, where she submitted to an evidential breath test. The result of the EBT was 0.117% BAC. She was charged with a single count of DUI. All suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
