An investigation into a discharged firearm leads officers into a chaotic club environment, where a suspect's fervent denial is challenged by a surprising discovery. Officers responded to a call regarding a firearm discharged on a city street late at night. A witness described a young woman, wearing a white shirt and plaid skirt, firing a handgun into the air before entering a nearby club. Inside a dimly lit dressing room, officers located a woman matching the description, who emotionally denied any involvement, claiming she was just drinking and having fun after arriving from out of town. Despite her vehement protests, a GLOCK 9mm handgun was discovered holstered under her skirt. She was subsequently arrested, charged with disorderly conduct and reckless conduct, and transported to the Athens-Clarke County Jail. --- Transparency through the lens of the law.
