In Columbus, Ohio, the confrontation with an armed teen escalated into an OIS. Police responded to gunshots near the Lincoln Park Pool. The situation intensified when 16-year-old Martavian Williams produced a firearm while ignoring commands. This footage documents the subsequent officer-involved shooting (OIS) and the immediate medical aid provided to the suspect. This bodycam footage details the quick response to an active threat. Three armed teens were involved, two of whom face felony charges. Martavian Williams was struck after he produced a firearm while crouching next to a vehicle. The other suspect, Keiaun Miller (15), fled on foot and threw a stolen gun (reported stolen in February 2025) over a fence. Felony Charges Include: Carrying a Concealed Weapon (4th degree felony), Receiving Stolen Property (4th degree felony, for Miller), Tampering with Evidence (3rd degree felony), Obstructing Official Business (5th degree felony). A third unnamed suspect was detained with a realistic-looking BB gun, but no charges have been filed against him. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) is investigating the OIS.
