A high school dispute over alleged infidelity escalates into a physical assault, leading to an arrest and a dramatic emotional breakdown at the station. A routine patrol at a high school quickly escalated when officers observed a student physically assaulting another individual in the parking lot. The incident, reportedly triggered by allegations of infidelity, involved the student yelling, throwing a phone, and striking the other person multiple times. During subsequent processing at the police department, the arrested student experienced a severe hyperventilation episode, requiring immediate medical attention from first responders and officers who calmly worked to stabilize her breathing, offering water and requesting a "jump bag." Despite the other individual declining to press charges, the incident was treated as a domestic case, resulting in the student being charged with simple assault and later released, with her court case subsequently transferred to avoid potential conflicts of interest. --- Transparency through the lens of the law.
