There is a disturbing trend going on where people are specifically targeting senior citizens in various scams. These are typically run out of India with the help of people within the US that are here illegally. This is happening in every state, from what we've seen they target people in small towns that might not have heard about these types of scams. In this case the man referred to as 'James' in the video was a citizen of India and he had 2 individuals from China that he was directing on the ground in the US. This started as call regarding a fake geek squad charge. The scammer from India pretends to be with Homeland Security and instructs this elderly woman to purchase over $100k in gold bars (which she did, you see the gold on her kitchen counter in the video) that will 'clear up' this situation...he then sets up a time for the men from China to drive to her home, at which point a password will be communicated and then the lady is supposed to hand over the gold with no questions asked. Thankfully this lady was suspicious and called the local police, they setup a sting operation and arrested the 2 individuals who arrived for the gold.
