On December 14, 2024, an off-duty Roswell Police Sgt. observed a vehicle driving erratically and commit several traffic violations. Officer Landfair located the vehicle and made contact with the 37-year-old driver. She initially denied consuming any alcohol. However, based on the off-duty Sergeant's observations, the woman was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests. At the conclusion of multiple sets of tests, she was placed under arrest for DUI. After being read her Miranda Rights, she admitted to consuming 3 to 4 beers at a Christmas Party. At the police station, she was unable to provide an adequate amount of breath for a valid breath test. This refusal elevated her charge to Aggravated DUI. Her case is still open and all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
