🎬 NO ADS, FULL RAW, UNEDITED, UNCENSORED POLICE FOOTAGE YOUTUBE 👉 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUercCkKZZ6FbhQeGSrysCA/join 🔍 Episode Overview: On December 15, 2022, at around 11:25 PM, officers from the Pequannock Township Police Department received a call about an accident on Jacksonville Road. A vehicle had crashed into a utility pole. Patrolman Benjamin Kohle arrived first at the scene and found 24-year-old Lauren Burklow as the only driver of a 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan. The airbags had deployed, and the car looked completely wrecked. Lauren shared with Patrolman Kohle that she had just come from the Verona Inn, where she had three drinks a few hours earlier. She explained that she lost focus while looking at her phone and the car's touchscreen, which led to her hitting the utility pole. Since she mentioned that her head hit the airbags, the officers decided to call an ambulance to have paramedics check her out. They also contacted JCP&L, the utility company, to come and start repairs. After the paramedics checked on her and she chose not to go to the hospital, Patrolman Parigi started some tests to see if she was impaired. The first test required her to recite the alphabet from "B" to "K" without singing. However, Lauren struggled with the task, listing the letters “C, D, E, F, G, A, K, L, M, N, O, P” before she stopped. For the second test, she had to count backwards from 52 to 36. At first, Lauren counted correctly, but she kept going until she reached 28, prompting Patrolman Parigi to intervene and stop her from continuing. The fourth exercise involved the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (HGN) test, conducted by Patrolman Kohle. As he performed the test, he noted that Lauren struggled to follow movements smoothly with her eyes. He observed clear signs of nystagmus, which is an involuntary eye movement, especially when her eyes were turned to their limits. He also saw nystagmus starting before her eyes reached a 45-degree angle on both sides. Additionally, there was a noticeable vertical nystagmus. Patrolman Kohle informed the other officers that Lauren exhibited all seven signs indicating impairment. The fifth exercise was the Walk and Turn test, overseen by Patrolman Parigi. As Lauren attempted the test, she struggled to keep a straight path, often missing the heel-to-toe step. At one point, she began to walk backwards, swaying from side to side. Next came the One Leg Stand test, which was the sixth exercise. During this part, Lauren had trouble lifting her foot correctly and relied on her arms for balance. She also forgot to count out loud while she tried to complete the test. After a traffic accident caused damage to property and due to her struggle with field sobriety tests, Officer Parigi arrested Lauren for driving under the influence. Since the Alcotest machine in Pequannock was out of order, she was taken to the Lincoln Park Police Headquarters. At the station, Officer Parigi read her the statement required for motor vehicle operators. Lauren agreed to take the breath tests, which revealed her blood alcohol concentration was 0.20%, over twice the legal limit. After completing the necessary processing, she was returned to Pequannock Township Police Headquarters and released to her mother with several tickets: driving under the influence, reckless driving, failing to maintain marked lanes, and using a hand-held phone while driving. On March 13, 2023, Lauren found herself in court where she admitted to driving under the influence. For her actions, she faced a fine of $890. The court also decided to take her driver's license away for four months. To regain it, she would need to install an ignition interlock device, which she would have to use for the next nine months. In addition, she was required to attend a 12-hour program at a resource center for intoxicated drivers. As part of her plea deal, three other charges were dropped, including reckless driving, not staying in marked lanes, and using her phone while driving. 2:00 Wtf! 2:34 she’s not in shock 21:13 lol the moon walk killed me hahaha 27:40 LOL the cop's laptop trying to restart to do updates. 30:25 Makin' Sharon Stone proud!!
