According to the report and witnesses, the driver was traveling at 100+ mph and he slammed into the rear of the Trooper. He yelled "Sorry!" and then fled into the nearby woods. The next day, he would surrender to police. Other than a few cuts and being sore, the Trooper was/is fine.
