Franco had stated he had received a call from Walmart employees who had stopped a woman trying to leave the store without paying for the items in her cart. Officers arrived on scene and met with the suspect who was identified as Sharon by the name, DoB and drivers license photo. A Walmart employee totaled what Sharon had taken and provided me with a void receipt for the items. Sharon was found to have taken $104.75 in merchandise. Officers had central run a criminal history for Sharon. Ofc Bradshaw looked over her history and advised she had pending cases. Officers then arrested Sharon for shoplifting and searched her person and belongings for any other items from Walmart. Officers found and confiscated a small glass pipe. The pipe was destroyed. A picture of the receipt was uploaded to the t-drive. Officers observed a Walmart loss prevention associate bar Sharon from Walmart for a period of 2 years. Officers informed central of the baring. Ofc Bradshaw transported the suspect to the county jail.
