@PoliceCamEncounters An El Paso man is facing vehicular homicide and DWI charges after alllegedly crashing into another vehicle Saturday, April 27 while driving the wrong way on Interstate 25 in Las Cruces. A resident of White Sands Missile Range was killed and another person was injured. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash. Daniel Medina, 41, of El Paso is jailed in Doña Ana County on suspicion of homicide by vehicle, causing great bodily harm by vehicle, driving under the influence or alcohol or drugs, driving on the wrong side of the road, having an open container and not having a driver’s license or insurance. New Mexico State Police say Medina was driving a 2009 Ford southbound in the northbound lanes of I-25 near Mile Post 1 in Las Cruces early Saturday. The Ford collided head-on with a 2008 Toyota that was traveling north in the right lane of I-25. A third vehicle — a 2007 Yamaha motorcycle driven by 21-year-old Austin Wagner of White Sands Missile Range — then collided into the Ford, according to state police. Wagner sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced deceased by the Office of the Medical Investigator. The driver of the Toyota, a 26-year-old man, sustained unknown injuries and was taken to an area hospital. _____________________________________________________________________________ Please like, share, comment and subscribe to my channel Police Cam Encounters by Clicking The Link Below! https://bit.ly/3ezHETk _____________________________________________________________________________ #PoliceCamEncounters #PoliceCamEncounters
