24:20 Bonus Footage of Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) Evaluation On June 17, 2024, Holmdel Police Patrolman Wilson observed a vehicle traveling 70 miles per hours (MPH) in a 45 MPH zone. Due to his location and the traffic, he was unable to turn around and pursue the vehicle. He radioed the vehicle's location to other units and Patrolman Menosky soon saw the vehicle speeding by him. He initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and the 19-year-old woman admitted to smoking cannabis several hours prior. She was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests and was eventually arrested for DUI. After being placed in the back of the police vehicle, her mother showed up on scene. She was allowed to talk to her daughter, but it had no effect on the daughter being arrested. She was transported to the New Jersey State Patrol station for an evidential breath test. The result of the breath test was 0.00% BAC. She was then taken to the Holmdel police headquarters, where she volunteered to submit to a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) evaluation. She also submitted a urine specimen. Before being released to her mother, she was given 10 separate citations, which are discussed in the video. Her case remains open and all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
