On Friday, July 25th at 1700 hours, I heard radio traffic from TAPD Officer Payne Carter stating he was attempting to catch up to a vehicle on I-49 that was traveling at speeds over 100 MPH. The vehicle was described as a white passenger car. It was later found to be a white Ford Fusion bearing AR LPN: AKF33E. Ofc. Carter stated the vehicle was traveling southbound on I49. He then updated and stated the vehicle was exiting onto U.S. Highway 71. I was on Highway 71 at the I-49 overpass. I observed the vehicle fail to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of I-49 SB exit ramp and Highway 71. I observed a black male lean forward to turn and look at Ofc. Carter as he turned east onto Highway 71. At this time Ofc. Carter was attempting to stop the vehicle with lights and sirens. I became the primary unit behind the vehicle, and I initiated my lights and sirens. The vehicle continued to accelerate and refused to stop. I advised Troop G dispatch that I had a vehicle fleeing from me and to show me in pursuit. The vehicle was traveling 71 MPH in a 45 MPH zone on Highway 71. The vehicle then turned south onto Old Blackman Ferry Rd. It continued to accelerate to triple digit speeds. My top speed was 116 MPH. We continued approximately 1 mile south down Old Blackman Ferry Rd. The suspect vehicle forced one vehicle that was oncoming to pull off the roadway completely. We approached a sharp curve that turned to the left, the suspect vehicle failed to maintain control of the vehicle due to his speed. The vehicle left the roadway to the south where it ran over multiple small sapling sized trees and bushes on a vacant piece of land at 4800 Old Blackman Ferry Rd. I followed the vehicle, and it came to a stop approximately 30 yards from the roadway. I approached the suspect vehicle with my duty issued handgun pointed at the suspect. The suspect was later identified as Caleb Nailon (04/29/2006 B/M). After multiple commands he showed me his hands. I had him exit the vehicle through the driver’s side window and he complied. Once he was halfway through the window, I assisted Nailon to the ground to maintain control of his movements and prevent him from retrieving a weapon or continuing to evade on foot. I placed Nailon in double locked handcuffs without incident. Shortly after (G22) Trooper Gentry and Ofc. Carter arrived at my location to assist. I placed Nailon in my patrol vehicle and asked if he was okay, he refused to identify himself or speak to me about being injured. An inquiry of the vehicle’s license plate showed a subject named Caleb Nailon as being stopped and issued a warning on 6-30- 2025. I pulled his driver’s license photograph up and confirmed it was him. Neeley’s towing responded and took possession of the vehicle. Ofc. Carter and I conducted an inventory of the vehicle. During the inventory Ofc. Carter located Nailon’s wallet with his DL inside it. He also located a working digital scale with marijuana residue on it in the rear pocket of the front passenger seat. I transported Nailon to MCSO for booking where he was subsequently charged with Fleeing- Vehicle or Conveyance - SUBSTANTIAL DANGER OF DEATH (C-Felony). Nailon was also issued multiple citations. The digital scale was stored at the Texarkana Substation. Texarkana Arkansas PD case number: A25-17919. The supplemental report will be attached to the case file. follow me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/lrhn_caash/ 😎 follow me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61564018231627 😎 follow me on twitter https://x.com/LRHN_Cash ✨😎 follow me on tiktok https://www.tiktok.com/@lrhncaash?_t=8fvtVaP3a9u&_r=1 😎✨ Follow me on twitch https://www.twitch.tv/lrhn_cash 🥶 Follow me on Snapchat https://snapchat.com/t/SbtgTt7z 😎
