On July 22, 2024, Village of Whitefish Bay Police Officer Dostalek attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding. After initially stopping, the vehicle fled the traffic stop, but then pulled over again just a few hundred feet down the road. The vehicle took off a second time, but stopped again when Sgt. Rossmann was able to get spike strips in front of the vehicle's tires. The 35-year-old woman was immediately arrested, searched, and placed in the back of the police car. She then went on a belligerent rant about the female officer's weight. Once at the police station, officers attempted to administer field sobriety tests, but the woman would not cooperate. She did agree to provide a breath sample for a portable breath test. The result was 0.000%. She was asked to consent to a blood draw, which she refused. Off-camera, she was transported to the hospital, where a search warrant was obtained for her blood. At the end of the video, she was read the four charges that she faced.
