On October 8, 2024 in Florida, officers stopped a man suspected of impersonating a police officer. According to another driver, the man's truck had flashing lights and a "police" siren that made him believe it was a law enforcement vehicle. He said the suspect vehicle used its lights and siren to go around traffic at an intersection, and then continued to use the lights and siren until the driver pulled over. When he turned off the road and into a parking lot, the truck followed him, but then no one got out of the truck, and after 3 minutes, it left. Given prior incidents with the suspect vehicle, officers soon located the truck. This is body cam footage of the events that followed. Footage on Body Cam Watch is for educational purposes only.
