I didn't know this was a thing but apparently this guy has scammed dozens of people and been arrested over 6 times for this scam where he steals thousands of dollars from women on the beach by pretending to be an artist/club promotor/influencer. He gets access to their phone by asking if he can add himself to their Instagram accounts, then he quickly opens their payment apps (mostly Venmo) and sends himself thousands of dollars. In one case he sent himself $9810 from one woman's phone. Lesson of the day: Don't EVER hand a stranger your phone for any reason. Not to make a call, not to add their account to your IG or Facebook and not for anything else. *Suspects in these videos should always be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
