What starts as a dispute over her bank account quickly turns into a tense police arrest. Officers respond to the bank after employees report that the woman is causing a disturbance and refusing to leave. The woman insists she has done nothing wrong and repeatedly demands access to her cash, saying the bank is refusing to give her money from her account. Bank employees tell officers that multiple fraud cases are still pending on the account and that they cannot simply close the account and release the funds. The woman continues arguing that she needs her money, explaining that she is homeless and cannot simply wait for a check to arrive in the mail. Police eventually tell her that she has been trespassed from the bank and needs to leave. When she does not comply, officers move to arrest her for obstruction. The encounter becomes physical as she repeatedly says officers are hurting her, asks for medical attention, and says she recently had a heart attack. Was this simply a heated bank dispute, or did the situation cross the line when she refused to leave? Watch the full police bodycam footage and decide for yourself.
