On November 14, 2025, Bernalillo County Sheriff's Deputy Jojola observed a vehicle stopped in the middle of an intersection. He attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the vehicle slow rolled from the intersection approximately one-half mile down the street. The vehicle was being driven by a 19-year-old woman. Deputies could smell alcohol coming from the breath of the woman, so Deputy Sandoval was contacted and was requested to conduct a DWI investigation. The woman became extremely agitated and belligerent, using profanity and racial slurs. She was eventually arrested and was transported to a Breath Alcohol Testing (BAT) Mobile Command Post. She agreed to provide breath samples and the results were 0.17% and 0.18% BAC. Her charges are listed at the end of the video. Her case is still open and all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
