Medina Township, Ohio -- Officers with the MTPD received a call about a motor vehicle accident on private property. The officer made contact with the suspect and I'll let you watch the video to find out what happened. The suspect, later identified as Elaina Ciacchi, was charged with the following: - Criminal damaging or endangering - OVI - OVI second in 20 - Failure to control - Reckless Operation Ciacchi was imminently placed on administrative leave pending outcome of her trial. All charges were dismissed except for her OVI charge. Her sentence: - $875 fine - License suspension for 30 months - 10 days mandatory jail time - 1 year of probation - Pay restitution of $3,723.64 On December 3rd, she was terminated from her position as police officer from the Cleveland Division of Police. Two months later, the officer whose BWC we are viewing was prosecuted for breaking and entering into his estranged wife's house.
