A midday beach encounter takes an unexpected turn when officers respond to reports of public lewdness, leading to immediate intervention. Patrolwoman Beringer, Sergeant Junquet, and Special Officer Contreras were dispatched to 65 Ocean Avenue following a report of two individuals having sex on the beach. Upon locating the couple, officers observed one individual initially topless, prompting a request to put on clothing. The situation quickly escalated as officers gathered witness statements and confirmed accounts of public indecency, including viewing corroborating video evidence captured by a bystander on their phone. Both individuals were then informed they were under arrest for lewdness, granted the opportunity to gather their belongings and dress, before being transported separately to the police department for further processing.
