Moore, Oklahoma This is a very disturbing story where neighbors encountered a 6 year old boy wondering around the neighborhood alone. At first they thought it was just a lost kid, it quickly turned into something nobody could have expected. The boy told neighbors (the neighbors are awesome by the way) he had been tied up, starved, and burned with a lighter. Police quickly arrived at one of the neighbors homes where the boy was located, officers noticed scars and visible injuries to the boys feet. Shortly after the police arrived the boys parents arrived on scene and said they were looking for their son who had run away. They were both taken back to the police station and interviewed. During the interviews the 6 year old child had to be taken to the hospital for his injuries. The parents admitted to the abuse, saying they used lighters to burn the bottom of the child's foot. The child was also found severely malnourished. Both parents were arrested for child abuse and child neglect, they are out on $250k bond and the cases are pending. The GOOD news is that the child was treated at the hospital and released, he was placed with a foster family and his health is much better. Prayers for that little boy, he deserves a great life and I very much hope he gets it. *Suspects in these cases should always be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
