A somber moment unfolds as a young woman is taken into custody for her alleged involvement in a fatal hit-and-run incident. The interaction stems from a tragic September 18, 2023, event where a woman in a wheelchair was struck and killed by a vehicle, with the driver fleeing the scene. Witnesses reported seeing a blue Subaru involved, leading to a multi-day search for the responsible party. Three days later, the young woman voluntarily turned herself in, admitting to fleeing out of fear and because she was driving a borrowed car. Officers are seen processing her arrest, securing her with 'bracelets' and directing her to sign documentation. She now faces charges for leaving the scene of a fatality collision and has been booked into a detention center, highlighting the grave legal consequences of such actions. --- Transparency through the lens of the law.
